Caregiver Screening & Training

Home Healthcare

A New Services member will visit with you in your home setting to discuss the level of care and frequency that matches your needs. A Registered Nurse is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to discuss your options and to answer any questions you may have.

Caregiver Screening & Training

Agape employs professional, experienced caregivers to meet a client’s independent lifestyle needs. Caregivers receive continuous education and directions from our Registered Nurse Clinical Supervisors.

A Registered Nurse appropriately matches the level of individualized, personalized care to the client’s needs.

Care may be scheduled for one hour a day up to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Caregiver Screening

Part of what sets Agape apart are the safeguards we set as standards for our clients. Our caregivers are Agape employees — not independent contractors. All caregivers are required to have background screenings, as required by the Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS). In addition, Agape takes the safeguards a step further and ensures every caregiver undergoes drug testing prior to hire. These measures collectively ensure a higher quality of caregiving staff.

Caregiver Training

Caregivers are required to participate in Agape’s orientation program when hired. The orientation is conducted by a highly professional HR staff. They receive additional training and support through our Onboarding and Mentoring Programs.

Furthermore, we protect you by being an agency that is licensed, bonded, and insured.
